Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect personal data in connection with our website and services.
This Privacy Policy explains how VoVoProxy ("VoVoProxy", "we", "us" or "our") handles personal data when you visit vovoproxy.com, contact us, create an account or use our proxy traffic services. Please read it together with our Terms of Service.
1. Who we are
VoVoProxy is an independent proxy service provider. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at support@vovoproxy.com.
2. Data we collect
Account data
- Your email address, display name, account identifier and account status.
- Authentication and security data, such as password hashes and session information.
- Communications you send to us, including support tickets and attachments.
Order and payment data
- Order details: proxy pool, traffic volume, unit price, total amount, currency, order identifier, timestamps and delivery status.
- Payment records received from our third-party payment processor: payment reference, amount, currency, status and confirmation time.
- We do not receive or store full card numbers, private keys or wallet recovery phrases. Card and cryptocurrency payment details are handled by the payment processor.
Usage and technical data
- Traffic usage: gigabytes consumed, remaining balance, per-account usage records and usage timestamps.
- Connection metadata needed to operate and secure the service, such as account identifiers, protocol, connection times and service logs.
- Technical data from your browser or device, such as IP address, user agent and the pages you request on our website.
We do not access or store the content of the traffic you route through the proxy service. We do not monitor the websites you visit or the data you exchange with them.
3. How we use data
- To create and administer your account and provide the services you order.
- To confirm payments, credit traffic, calculate usage and maintain billing records.
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot our systems, including fraud and abuse prevention.
- To respond to support requests and communicate about your orders.
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.
- To enforce our Terms of Service and protect our rights and those of others.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required (for example, for optional communications).
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Our marketing website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The customer portal uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect your account against unauthorised access. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites.
Our hosting and security providers may process technical request data, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver content and protect the service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in.
5. How we share data
We do not sell personal data. We share data only as needed to operate the service:
- Payment processor: to create payment requests, confirm payments and handle refunds.
- Infrastructure and hosting providers: to host the website and service, deliver content, store data and protect against attacks.
- Support and communication tools: to receive and respond to your enquiries.
- Professional advisers and authorities: where required by law, a court order or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
Service providers acting on our behalf are required to protect personal data and may use it only for the purposes we specify.
6. Retention
We keep account, order and billing records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Technical and security logs are kept for a limited period needed for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, encryption of stored connection credentials, access controls and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
8. International processing
Our infrastructure and service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections with our providers.
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to request a portable copy of data you provided. To exercise a right, email support@vovoproxy.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority in your country.
Some requests may be limited where we must retain data for legal, tax, accounting, security or dispute-resolution reasons.
10. Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided data to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice by email or through the service where practicable.
12. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, email support@vovoproxy.com. We aim to respond within one business day.
